Christmas in Oregon! Part 1

The beginning of our trip in Oregon was fun! The plane ride there was a little rough. Riley was a pill on the plane. I thought that making the flight during his bedtime would make it easier. Well, I was fooled! He cried on and off the whole time (he does not do well without a crib). To make the long story short Brandon and I got no sleep the first nightOn the 22nd we celebrated my little sisters birthday! We had Pizza and enjoyed the Oregon Zoo lights!

Here is Riley hanging out in the car all bundled up before we arrived.

When we got there it was packed! We had to park at the zoo's shuttle service which was less than a mile away. I think we waited a good 20 minutes before we got into the Zoo. Thank heavens we were all in a good mood!

I think the poor guy who took the picture of all of us  must have been freezing... we look just a tad bit blurry.

Riley zonked out 3/4 of the way into the zoo.

Brandon and i next to our future house. :p

It was Riley's first Christmas! He didn't get into ripping the paper, but he loved playing with the after math..

On the 26th we celebrated my brothers birthday early. We saw Avatar in 3D which I thought was fun! (Brandon is sporting the cool glasses we got to wear.) After that we went to dinner at Outback Steak house. I Love meat!

Overall our first week and a half was packed full! I got to visit with two of my friends (Jana and Tricia) from high school.  (ps: Tricia if you read this, could I get a copy of your picture? Either I forgot to have one taken on my camera or somehow it got lost. Thanks :p)

We went to the German deli and had the best Reuben sandwiches ever!.

Brandon and I were able to get away for a night at the downtown Embassy suites in Portland. I got to have room service for the first time in my life, (it was only chocolate cake but so worth it) and rented the movie "It's all about Steve". We also had dinner at one of my favorite sit down burger places called  "McMenamins".

I'm sure I am missing events and other little things that were fun, but those are the ones that stuck out the most.
