All summers come to an end...

One of Riley's favorite things this summer has been baseball. It's the first sport he has really taken interest in and would like to pursue more of. I tried to get some photo's of our little baseball player, but the sun and wind were a bit too strong!
Riley has also grown 2 1/2 inches since his check up last year!!!!! It's a hard realization when your sons head is passing your shoulders. I can't believe he will be a 4th grader in 10 days!
These photos below were taken at one of his games. He got a couple of hits that night and was really excited!

Natalie is still tiny for her age. People don't believe me when I tell them she is 4. I had her signed up for a preschool this year, but it fell through. It left me frustrated, but at the same time I know she will be okay. She still wants to do dance which will give her some socialization during the week. At least I get to love on her for one more year!
Lorelei too hasn't grown much since her last doctors appointment as well. Her height and weight are almost exact. The doctor said she was a perfect square! Lorelei decided to forgo dance this year and is on a wait list for Horse back riding lessons. She loves animals and plans to be a veterinarian someday!
I love Colorado's cumulus clouds!
One of our summer days we went to the park around 9 am. Sadly, it was already 88 degrees and the structure was burning. After ten minutes we decided to walk home and go the the pool instead!
We had a couple of breaks on our way back.
Pool time!
Lorelei showing off her swimming skills.
Natalie being stocked by her brother.
Every time we go to the pool she has to collect all of the aspen leaves.
Hopefully, we get to make it to the pool a couple of more time before the summer ends!

Georgetown Railway

The day after July 4th we visited the Georgetown Railway. Georgetown is one of my favorite towns in Colorado!
Something must have been funny!
I love theses kids. They were so good!!!!!!!!
Lorelei Loved having uncle Alex around. She dragged him everywhere!
These shots are looking towards Goergetown.

Kids Under the age 5 were not allowed into them mine. Natalie and I spent our time eating hot dogs and playing in the dig area, where we collected precious stones, shark teeth and arrow heads. It was a lot of fun and made the time fly by fast.

It was a nice cool wet soggy day. A good break to the streek of 90 degree weather!
