Family Photo's 2016

I know this girl named Kailey who was a youth in the Spring Gulch ward when we lived in Highlands Ranch. She is currently studying communications with a minor in Photography. She came home for Thanksgiving break and was offering family photo's. I am true believer that people even starting out need a chance. Though it was cold and we had to do it on two different days, I think they turned out great. Natalie had a very hard time. She had melt downs, stomping on her brothers feet in retaliation and moments of her yelling at poor Kailey to "go away" and hiding her head.
Natalie going in for the kill
  Making contact
 Rubbing it in
 Suffering from pain

So much for mommy daughter photo's
Over all they were awesome and rewarded with a starbucks run for hot chocolate and toasty warm van!

August-October overload!

This post will get you all updated in our nonstop current crazy lives!
We got to attend the Fort Collins Temple open house. Though the kids were done by the time we got out, I think they enjoyed it. Natalie asks to go to the temple every time I get in the car. She usually has a melt down when she realizes I am driving to pick up the older two from school.
 Riley's been trying Archery!
Natalie wants to go to school too!
Swim Lessons!
We have had really dry and warm days around here. Usually by October things start to get cold and we see our first frost. This year has been an actual fall with some 85 degree days here and there.  Hence the reason for so many outdoor photo's and visits to parks!
Anybody want a sand ice cream, it's free?!?!?!?
 Lorelei's sand snowman
Pumpkin Patch. It turned hot quickly!
We spent our whole time in line for character balloons. By the time the hour was over Natalie was ready to go home.
Fall Break shenanigans and a trip to the zoo!
I can't get over the photo below of Riley. The smolder is killing me!
Everybody had the same idea to go to the zoo. We ended up parking almost a mile away, but it was worth it. The fall colors in the park were gorgeous!
 Hello felines!
Got to love a bear sleeping in a tree!
We got to watch the Elephant show and I got to get some cool photo's!

These pictures were taken behind the zoo in Denver's city park! This state may be brown most of the time, but if you look closely it can be gorgeous!

 Halloween!
There was no trunk or treat this year. Our ward rented out the MAC and the kids had a blast playing on their indoor play structure for hours. It turned out to be the best activity we have had in a long time.
At school the kids got to participate in a program called avid. They got to dirt bike, kayak and climb a rock wall!
Wow, so much has happened in such a short time. Thanks for putting up with my overload of a photo dump!
