6 Month Comparison

I have been wanting to do this for a while! It would have been even more fun to add Brandon and I at 6 months, but sadly we do not have any of our baby pictures. It is fun to see how each child differs from the other. I also had fun discovering that all of my babies sat on their own at 6 months of age.

A Nana and Mindy Request

This post is all about Natalie today! A lot of these photo's were requested and some are showing mile stones at 6 months.
Finally holding her own bottles a week before her 6 months!
Lorelei put her hat on her sisters head and thought she looked cute. We had to take a picture!
Natalie sat on her own for the first time at 6 months!
Aunt Mindy sent Natalie a cute hat and wanted to see her sporting it.
These swim suite photo's were also requested by aunt Mindy. I failed to take a picture of her in her bathing suite at the pool. Yes, baby swim suite's are adorable!

Our 6 month baby loves to talk, squeal, play with her siblings and interact with her baby friends. She is afraid of strangers if mom is around and still hates visiting the PICU floor and any doctor. She is 18 pounds of kissable slurpy cheeks.

December!

Wow, December was one full month. It started off with a visit from Nanna. I was sad that I did not get any photo's, but I had a really good reason. Nanna came to help with Kiddo's so that I could have my varicose vein surgery. Because of my crazy bugling knotted tangled veins I had to have two procedures done. They were a week apart from each other and my last one was the Wednesday before Christmas! My mom was only able to help with the first procedure which was the worst. We got to eat out, play, see Christmas lights and enjoy time with her. Poor Lorelei ended up getting sick two days before Nanna left. My poor little girl ended up with a UTI. Once she felt better we made our gingerbread house!

Then we made time to see Santa before Christmas. You will notice that Lorelei is missing in the pictures. For the third year in a row she gets excited to go see Santa and then becomes petrified when we arrive. One of these days I'll just have to photo shop her in. :p
Deer in the headlights
Christmas Sunday best
My festive Christmas Jello. I can't wait to try the rainbow version. The kids thought this was awesome!
Natalie was ready for Santa to come!
The kids were so excited. The night before Christmas we watched the story of Jesus's birth online and tracked Santa across the world. Lorelei swears that she saw Santa fill their stockings.
How many people does it take, to help NaterB open her presents?

Riley got two sets of Marble runs. One from Santa and one from Aunt Mindy. He also got a smaller set last year from Grammy and G-pa. Once you add them all together you get a Marbletopia. We have spent many hours and many days playing and building. Plus daddy added his collection of marbles that made it even better.
Natalie enjoys the loud ruckus and loves being close to Ri and Lolli. As lolli would say "this was the best Christmas Ever!!!!"

Impromptu Family photo's

This year was impossible to squeeze in family photo's. I either looked and felt like baby beluga's mother (before Natatlie was born), or we were just too busy and strapped for cash when Natalie was born.  I seriously was thinking of not doing cards this Christmas. As the month grew closer I realized how much I love giving and receiving cards. I spent an afternoon finding cloths in our closets that would coordinate and made everyone dress up the next morning and pose.
I was the one running back and forth pushing the timer button. After a while it began to make Natalie mad. I love how candid this picture turned out!
Okay, so I bribed my kids with my oh so coveted Nerds.
It was definitely hard, but I did end up with some cute photo's. This Spring We will have real family photo's done by a real photographer. I can't wait because the lady I have lined up does an amazing job!
