Granny Awards!

Tonight Riley had his 3rd grade production called "The Granny Awards". Riley was cast as the prince. I love this musical! It is so cute and incredibly funny. The kids did a wonderful job and had so much fun with it.

Afterwards, we celebrated with a family outing to Freddy's for dinner and ice cream! These are my favorite moments of being a mom!!!!!!!!

Getting ready for fun!

My friend is having her baby in a couple of weeks and has asked me to take her pictures. Natalie, being the super trooper she is (or when she wants to be) went with me to Home Goods in search of photo props. We found the perfect basket and textiles to go with it. While searching I would ask her if the baby would like certain textures and colors. Eventually she looked at me and said "when do we get to have our baby little Lorelei?" I told her that the baby is going to be Stephanie's not ours. I also explained to her that even if she did get another sister her name would not be Lorelei. She then looked at me and said "I have the perfect name for a baby girl, Brynlee!!" Instead of guaranteeing her a new sibling I let her have a mommy and me photo shoot with her baby MaryEllen.
Natalie got her first dance costume!!!!! Don't tell Mrs. Sara, but I let Lollie try hers on one more time.
5 More weeks until rehearsal!!!

Happy Easter!

I love having Easter on conference weekend! It's the best time to relax, hear talks from our leaders and remember Christ!
This year we died our eggs in cool whip with food dye. The kids loved how messy it was.
The Easter bunny brought bubble wands. After conference we put them to good use in the backyard.
I love the moments where all of my kids play together well. I have to document it. 70 percent of the time someone is offended, left out, or their picking at each other.
Recital is coming up!!!! Lorelei got her dress today and was allowed one time to wear her dress before the performance. She is so excited! This years theme is Candy Land. Lorelei, gets to dance to the song "Pure Imagination". The version Mrs. Sara uses is the remake by Josh Grobon. If you haven't heard it you need too! Natalie's is "Tutti Frutti". She won't be able to get her dress until Saturday. This means more photos soon!!!!!!
