February Madness!!!!!

First of all, WE SOLD OUR HOUSE!!!!!!!!! It was a lot of hard work but having my parents here as a good luck charm did the trick! We got full asking price and they are willing to accommodate our closing and vacate date! You can't get better than that!
Lorelei's Big 8 Birthday!!!
She loves everything that deals with animals. Her goal is to be a veterinarian some day an own as many pets a possible! (Aunt Mindy almost made her dream come true...) Horses are her favorite! She recently took a few lessons and enjoyed them thoroughly. Sadly, we found out that horses cause her to have eczema outbreaks on the back of her knees. She was devastated, but we told her that didn't  mean her dreams were over. We'll just have to learn how to manage it. Dance has become something she loves and is excited to move up to Burgundy in the fall. You will sometimes find her practicing back-bends in the door ways of the house. School is her least favorite thing but she loves her friends. I asked her if she would be willing to change schools when we move, but she said NO she cannot leave her friends. Thank Heavens for open enrollment. She loves to color, draw and play with her siblings. Her motto is "I can do hard things" and "She believed she could so she did." I have seen her grown so much in her confidence!
Happy Birthday Lollie!!!!
For her Party, I decided to take Lollie and her two best friends to Arts on Fire! (this way we could celebrate her Birthday outside of the home, because we were still showing it at the time.) They were in art heaven!!!! I too ended up putting my camera down to paint. The whole family loved it as well. Riley painted a penguin cup, Natalie an elephant sculpture, my mom a butter container and of course I found a Frog!!! Afterward we went to a near by doughnut shop and sang Happy Birthday to her. She said she loved every minute of it!

 Riley is now 10!!!!!!
He loves Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Captain underpants and Harry Potter. Baseball and soccer are his favorite sports and you will find him dancing any chance he gets. He loves going to band and Annie practice. When they are cancelled he becomes very upset and annoyed with Mrs. E. Being in the limelight is his thing. He is already tweening and giving me quite the attitude. Girls are only good as friends. None of them are girlfriend material, but he will fold a butterfly during self led conferences and give it to Stella as he and her blush?!?!?!!! Her mom thought it was sweet. He is one heck of a mathematical kid (I'm jealous), loves learning, everything technical and is self driven.
Happy Birthday Riley!!!!!
The Hogwarts train he built after cake and ice cream.
Right before Riley's Birthday we went to see the ice castles in Dillon. It wasn't as big as we thought it would be, but we still had a lot of fun in the mountains.
They had a few ice slides that were fun for the kids and adults.
 Some tunnels to crawl through
 The mountains are so gorgeous!!!!!
Aunt Mindy came for Lorelei's Baptism. She made these cute headbands for Lorelei to choose from and wear with her dress. Natalie had fun wearing them and staring at herself in the mirror. I can't tell you how much she loves looking at herself in the mirror at dance class. She definitely is the girliest of  the two.
Lorelei's Baptism was full of emotions. You could say it was a happy sadmad (as Oh would say) kind of day. Gram and Aunt Dorothy wanted to be there, but their plane had complications making it impossible for them to come. Brandon had his grandfather pass away and so many other things on his mind. However, we kept the day simple and made sure she got as much love and attention as possible. She chose to have her special lunch at Freddy's and eat her coveted custard ice cream!!!!! In the end nothing phased Lollie and she said she enjoyed her day. Her favorite part was getting her own set of scriptures.
