Nana came into town for fall break. The kids were really excited! We had plans to get out and play but the next day it snowed!
Instead we played indoors and relaxed. I am so bummed that my Camera settings were off when I took the picture of Riley below. It was underexposed, but I still think it turned out cool!
The next day the ground was still too muddy so we made Halloween cookies.
Finally warm weather and a trip to the zoo!
My kids go through photographing phases. I just wish they would want to be photographed at the same time. Lollie is obviously in a photographing mood!
The giraffe mother stuck her tongue out at me!
Our zoo has made some incredible enclosures. The Tiger is actually on a catwalk above my head!
We stopped for a quick break but don't let those smiles deceive you. We were all cranky from lack of food. Luckily, we got to the food court in time to snag the last few hot dogs. Who knew the zoo could run out of food by noon?
Another exciting moment was when the Elephant took a walk over the bridge!
Lorelei's flamingos!
Riley's new favorite and Natalies!
Seems how we were already in Denver we took a jaunt over to Little Mans Ice Cream!!!
The last full day with Nana was spent at the pumpkin patch! I took a ton of pictures but realized that I had forgotten to put my card in the camera and did not get some of my favorites.
The weather was perfect and we played until the Chonci screamed! The rest of the day my mom and I spent time Christmas shopping and treated ourselves to an early Birthday treat at the CheeseCake Factory!
Saturday before Nana left we did an impromptu trick or treat. The kids showed off their costumes to Nana and received a small treat.
Skittles is part of the family too!
Happy Early Birthday Nana! Thank you for coming!!!!!!!!
