School started August 10th and the kids were excited! Riley is now in third grade and Lorelei is first grade. Next week Natalie will get to go to preschool! Lorelei had a hard time transitioning to a full day. She has had many grumpy afternoons and a day where obeying the teacher was hard. After a long talk and a few days to adjust she has gotten the hang of it. Riley is loving his new teacher and has started speech therapy!!!! You have no idea how excited I am! It has been a long battle since he was 4. The school kept telling me over and over that he did not meet their criteria for help. For the longest time no speech clinic would take our insurance. Then this year the Heavens opened (thanks to the help of my sisters school for evaluating him for free) and then my pediatrician handing me a paper with a speech therapy clinic that takes our insurance! I am over the moon excited to get him help.
